David A. Weinberg, M.D., F.A.C.S.
David A. Weinberg, M.D., F.A.C.S. is an ophthalmologist fellowship trained in the fields of oculofacial plastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Weinberg’s practice encompasses all aspects of oculofacial plastic surgery from aging changes to trauma to aesthetic surgery, including eyelid, lacrimal (tear duct) and orbital diseases and surgery. Cosmetic procedures offered include botulinum toxin (BOTOX®), filler injections, blepharoplasty, and forehead and mid-face lifts.
After completing a six-year biomedical program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, Dr. Weinberg obtained his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. This was followed by fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at Michigan State University and Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Weinberg then completed fellowship training in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute of UCLA in Los Angeles, California. For the next 12 years he was on the full-time faculty of the University of Vermont and then the University of Utah, as an associate professor of ophthalmology and neurology, with a busy clinical practice in oculofacial plastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology.
Dr. David Weinberg is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society. He has been President of the New England Oculoplastic Society since 1996.
