Natan D. Kahn, M.D.

Natan D. Kahn, M.D. is an ophthalmologist fellowship trained in the field of oculoplastic surgery. As an oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Kahn’s practice includes complex reconstructive procedures and surgery of the eyelids, orbits, and tear drainage systems as well as identifying and removing tumors of the eye area. He also performs cosmetic surgery of the eyelids and eyebrows and treatments such as BOTOX®.

Dr. Kahn attended the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas near is hometown of Tyler, Texas. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in New York where he was appointed Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Kahn completed his fellowship training at West Virginia University Health Sciences Center and worked there as an instructor of ophthalmology prior to joining Maine Eye Center in July of 1999.

Dr. Natan Kahn is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an assistant clinical professor for the University of Vermont College of Medicine.

Dr. Kahn's practice is located at Maine Eye Center's Stroudwater Crossing location at 1685 Congress Street in Portland.
