Curtis M. Libby, M.D.
Curtis Libby, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology care, cataract and refractive surgery, and glaucoma subspecialty care.
A native of the Portland area, Dr. Libby has been a practicing eye physician and surgeon locally since 1996. He worked in private practice for five years with Libby Eye Associates in Portland before joining Maine Eye Center in May 2000.
Dr. Libby earned his medical degree at the University of Vermont Medical School. He completed his glaucoma fellowship program at the University of Wisconsin, following his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He holds an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College.
Dr. Libby is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Currently, Curtis Libby is a Past-President of the Maine Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and consults as team ophthalmologist for the Portland Sea Dogs.
