John L. Walters, O.D.
John L. Walters, O.D. has been involved in the field of eye care since 1987. He is an honors graduate of New England College of Optometry located in Boston, Massachusetts and completed his postgraduate residency at the New England Eye Institute in Boston. While at the institute, Dr. Walters assisted in supervising the clinical care given by the students of optometry.
Dr. Walters has practiced as a licensed optometrist in Southern Maine since 1997 and joined Maine Eye Center in 1999. He currently specializes in routine eye care, contact lens services, and the non-surgical treatment and management of ocular disorders.
John L. Walters, O.D. is certified by the National Board of Optometry and is licensed by the Maine Board and the Massachusetts Board of Optometry.
