Stuart W. McGuire, M.D.

Stuart W. McGuire, M.D. has had a solo ophthalmology practice in 1966 and joined Maine Eye Center in 1995. He is a past Chief of Ophthalmology at Mercy Hospital. Dr. McGuire specializes in medical ophthalmology, routine, and low vision care.

Dr. McGuire graduated from Columbia College, Ohio State University and the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Indiana University Medical Center.

Dr. McGuire is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an assistant clinical professor for the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
