Jeffrey L. Berman, M.D.

Jeffrey L. Berman, M.D. is a fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist. He specializes in the complete treatment of eye problems in infants and children, including eye muscle imbalances and blocked tear ducts. Dr. Berman also treats double vision and misalignments of the eyes (strabismus) in adults.

Dr. Berman is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Kentucky following his ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

In addition to his work at Maine Eye Center, Dr. Berman acts as the consulting ophthalmologist for the neonatology unit at Maine Medical Center, where he evaluates the eye health of premature infants.

Dr. Jeffrey Berman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
