Board-Certified Ophthalmologist
Nathaniel Gelinas, DO, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides a wide array of services including routine eye examinations, complex cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, laser procedures, and the management of ocular emergencies. Dr. Gelinas has a particular clinic interest in refractive cataract surgery using presbyopia and astigmatism correcting lenses. Dr. Gelinas specializes in dropless cataract surgery to provide the most convenient and smooth surgical experience for his cataract surgery patients.
Dr. Gelinas received his medical degree from Midwestern University where he graduated with honors in the top quarter of his class. Dr. Gelinas completed a Transitional Year residency program at Saint John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Detroit Michigan. He then completed his ophthalmology residency program at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
Dr. Gelinas has authored numerous publications in professional journals and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Gelinas enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his friends and family.
